"These Words, These Words...Why?"

These words, these words,
Why are they used against me as if to pry open dignity and rip it apart.
These words, these words,
They are so sharp
Even though I push myself to strive and try my hardest to rise
You people and your words are so hurtful,
Like taking a handful of Skittles to stuff in your mouth,
Oh these riddles, these riddles
It’s me you sent away
You sent with these rules you’ve bent
And taking my things and not paying your rent
That why it’s me you’ve sent.
These words, these words,
They are so deadly
They kill the birds,
Why?
These words.
