Motivation doesn’t come naturally
It requires being bold
It’s fueled by the things that have been done for me
To get me through the cold

It’s like stepping out into the bitter land
A place that is hostile and hopeless
But somehow you reach the warm sands
You feel like you’ve achieved something and want to be noticed

Although things may stand in your way
Like threats, sadness, anger, or despair
Deep inside there’s a ray of sunlight from a summer’s day
That creates a fire that starts to flare

You begin to want to fight for what’s right
You feel like you could inspire a nation
You could do this for infinite days and infinite nights
This, my friend, is the feeling of motivation
