She looks out the window.
Her reflection staring back.
Tears run down her face.
Rain drips down the glass.

Through the window she finds the truth,
Like a rainbow after a storm of lies.
The falsities drip down the glass like the raindrops,
Trickling out of sight.

She wipes away the fog on the pane,
A circle of clarity.
One eye peeks through,
Sees all that she has missed.

Through the fog of lies that have covered the window,
Now she sees, now she knows,
What the truth has shown.
