I place my fingers on the keys and go
Starting out soft and slow
And growing fast and loud
Boom, Boom, Crash
Jumping chords and melodies
Sounding as loud as thunder
All of a sudden I am a mouse
Phrasing dynamics, voicing and rhythm
Crescendo and decrescendo, artistry and more
So much to think about
So much to do
And then like that I’m done
I finished, it was good
But not good enough
I lay my fingers on the keys and go again
