Reading a book
Can take you to faraway places:
To a castle with dungeons and maces
A land where people have no faces
A heart where true love is honored above all
The lives of teenagers who hang out at the mall
The world of ghosts and goblins and ghouls
A room where you find only fools
To a friend that can be real or fake
The nation of people whose lives are at stake
A culture that is shrouded in mystery
The lives of people who are part of history
The galaxy of Fiblian where the Fiblanian are all male
To the life of a girl who is hopelessly frail.
Reading a book can take you to all these places and more—
A boat to take you there is waiting on shore.
