Like everybody says roses are red and violets are blue
But in my life it does not come true
Nobody can see what I’m going through
But they do try to see what I go through
And the only things that are red are my rosary beads too

These gangs got me caught up in the moment
But the only thing I can do is get through
And nowadays these kids they are not fighting
Now they are just handling things with 45s, 38s and 22s

People say that heaven is up and hell is down
But it seems like we are in hell
So I have to grind to the fullest
