When I was born
my mom held strong
She stayed by my side
even when I was wrong
When I go to bed
she wakes me at morn
When I cried
she held me in her arms
Now I stay
with her till dawn
She reads me a book
as I lay down
The next is day is bright
as the days went tight
My mother was never
out of my sight
God bless the woman
who gave me life
