No one knows of our struggle.
Trying to survive in the hood.
No one knows what the day will bring.
No one knows.
The fear of being black in the hood.
The fear of being misunderstood.
Shot down because of the color of our skin.
No one knows, but we know.
No one knows the depth of our souls.
Behind closed doors, we pray.
God please show us the way to survive.
Outside my world, no one knows.
