Feel my pain as a sick child
Feel my pain of being hostile
Feel my pain as a child with no mother
A child with no home and sometimes no supper
Feel my pain like a rainy day
Learning to live life my way
Feel my pain as I try to find my style
Feel my pain when all the while
I realize
That feeling pain is not all I can do,
I am creative, smart and beautiful too
I am who I am
I’ll be who I’ll be
But at the end of the day I’m still me
At times with a lot of pain
