As the storm hits the waves
nature starts to rest
for the drums of the thunder have gone mute

It is peaceful and quiet for seconds
Pauses
of thoughts fill the mind
as everything stands still

And up above
the moon dances across the dark ballroom floor
shining with skill
surrounded by an audience of stars

All through the night they dance
creating silhouettes on land
because in the morning
they will hide

But when the sun sets
and the frogs begin to croak
the cycle repeats itself
It’s the way the night moves
