As I try to escape this place
I see all of the people who need me,
But I want to make my own decisions.
I understand how you say I am too young.
But don’t you say live life to the fullest,
Or how I should learn from my mistakes?
Maybe I should make more mistakes.

I also see people like me who don’t like it here,
And they try to escape through books, movies, and music.
But when the movie ends, the song comes to a speeding halt,
Or when you finish that line,
You are still reminded that
