It stretches like a sea of light
overflowing into darkness.

Stave II

Snow
A flurry of tiny white crystals.
Beautiful, delicate, cold.
It chills me to the bone
eating away at warmth.

Stave III

Music
A symphony of sounds.
Heavenly, colorful, enchanting.
It carries me to another world
washing away worry.
