When I trip, my family catches me
When they trip, I catch them
But, sometimes they’re not there
Then I fall, but don’t know how to get up
But, when I lift my head
He reaches out
Then I grab it
I asked him what’s his name
He said, “Jesus”
Then he said, “I’ve always been here
But, you never did look up”
So now, every time I fall
I get caught by someone more pure than family love
I get everlasting love
