Hidden in the shadows, 
Where no one can find me, 
As I isolate myself from the world. 

The fog fades. 
My life opens into a new dimension. 
Somewhere I would have never thought 
I ever dreamed to see. 

The shadows turn into light, 
As the sun shines down on me. 
But it doesn’t seem right. 

My life was ending; 
And now I’m better than ever. 
Am I in heaven? 
Or have I changed? 

I found the new me, 
As I exit the shadows.
