The books go on shelves,
coats go on hooks.
The board is filled
with problems and
encouraging posters.
We start our day
with a "hello"
and a "good morning."
The day flows on
filled with learning
and enjoyment.
By the end of the day,
the homework has
piled up!
We walk home in peace
with a "good-bye"
and a "good afternoon."
We’ll be here tomorrow
to start over again.
