Click! My ski boot clicks into my ski binding.
I grab my poles and I’m off. I see the snow glisten.
My papa glides ahead. I breathe out the air while pumping my arms.
I hear the wind pick up. Ski tracks lead me into the woods.
Deer trails are next to the ski trails. The cold bites my face.
